Telling Your Stories has an important purpose

Your Stories Have an Important Purpose

We all love stories. Just think about it, the majority of entertainment from opera to books to movies is stories. You have stories! And your stories have a purpose.

Most stories involve love; lack of love, falling in love, seeking love, spreading love, dying for love, losing love, finding love, couple’s love, self-love, family love, friendship love, pet love, love in all its forms. And we always cheer for a happy ending.

I believe our primary motivation for so much of our behaviour is driven by our desire to love and be loved.

And so, I chose the story format for this book. Because my life is about love, all the above mentioned kinds of love.

To love and to be loved is our Soul Purpose and we are here to practice love. Therefore, this book contains ‘stories’ of how I practiced love this time around. Most notably when loving is the hardest thing to do.

Your Story’s Beneficial Purpose

The stories of our life experiences, how we bounced back from the genuinely heart-breaking, tough and soul-bruising times are lessons we learn for a beneficial reason: to share this wisdom with others.  Whether that be one person or hundreds of people, this will unfold as it’s meant to be. The treasure is the value in each of the stories.

But first, is learning how to bounce back and what role love has played. This is the purpose of the book “Born to Bounce Back”, How to Regain Zest For Life After it Knocks You Down.

You’ll read through seven of my ‘tough time’ stories followed by how they have and will affect my life for as long as I live, the value they have had on my life and why love is my untiring propeller as I steer my way through this journey. Look for some ‘How To’ advice included to help you grow and guide you on your own sojourn!
